As one of the main events of celebration held on 1st May 2011 in presence of Ambassadors of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kirgizstan and Tajikistan, the new painting exhibition of the great master from Uzbekistan, internationally acclaimed painter Asliddin Isaev was solemnly inaugurated at the Modern Art Exhibition Hall.
30 paintings created by the painter during his 3 weeks stay at Kullu valley, left the visitors spellbound. Subtle touch yet strong strokes of his brush, choice of colors and penetrating depth carried vivid testimony of the great talent and master hood of Asliddin Isaev.
Though visiting India for the second time (in 1990 he came to exhibit his paintings in Calcutta), it was Asliddin’s first visit to Himalayas, and he became totally enchanted by their beauty, serenity and might.
The exhibition of Asliddin Isaev was a great success in the Roerich Trust. Tourists and guests of the Trust highly appreciated the art of the Uzbekistani painter.
Asliddin Isaev was born on the 2nd of July 1948 in the famous ancient city of Samarkand at Uzbekistan. The carrier of great artist started in 1973 when his works were presented at the art exhibition of young painters of Samarkand.
The next enormous step was made in 1984 – his personal exhibition was held in Samarkand. In 1986 he made a creative trip to Czechoslovakia (Prague and Bratislava). He participated in the International exhibition ‘Tradition and Search’ in Paris, France. In 1987 his creative works found their place in the group exhibition “Artists of Uzbekistan” in Tashkent. 1989 – creative trip to the USA. 1990 – creative trip to India on the invitation of the Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Calcutta, Swami Lokeswarananda. Exhibition held at the Institute. 1993 – personal exhibition “The Lights of Afrasiyab” in Moscow. 1994, 1996, 1999 – participation in the International exhibition ARTMYTH, Moscow. In 1995, 1997, 1999 he participated in the international exhibition ARTASIA, Tashkent. He was awarded with diploma of the International exhibition ARTASIA, diploma of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan for excellence in the works of a traditional character. In 1998 his personal exhibitions was repeatedly organized in the ancient city of Samarkand. In 1999 he was awarded with the Friendship Order by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan for the contribution to the development of folk arts. He participated in the international exhibition biennale - 2001 in Tashkent and was awarded with the exhibition’s diploma. In 2001 and 2003 – creative trips to the USA (Washington, Philadelphia) In 2004 he was awarded with the silver medal of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. In 2007 he held his personal exhibition in Seul, South Korea. In 2008 he held his personal exhibition in Kair, Egypt. In 2008 he was awarded with the golden medal of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. In 2009, 2010 personal exhibitions are held at Samarkand.
