KIRLIAN’S EFFECT – THE GREATEST SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY
OF THE XXth CENTURY
In 1949 the Russian couple Semyon and Valentina Kirlian from Krasnodar got a license for inventing an equipment able to fix emanations coming from human fingers. Their invention had been kept in secret till 1960 when it became worldwide famous. The equipment consists of special generator of high frequency connected with two lamellar electrodes. The object being photographed is put between the plates together with film and photo paper. Then the operator switches the high-tension electric current on and as a result of the emerging effect in electric field, the imprint appears on the photo material.
This effect was named ‘Kirlian’s effect’ and was recognized as one of the greatest scientific discoveries of the XXth century. Kirlian’s method is applied in many branches of science. In medicine it is used for express-diagnostics of diseases at early stages. It can show not only the physical state of the body, but the psychological state of the person as well. The advantages of this method are simplicity, low price, safety and accuracy of diagnostics. By photographing only toes and finger’s tips it is possible to get information about psychological and physical state of people while analyzing the emanations around them.
The Kirlians have done a lot of experiments with plants. They noticed that the plants’ leaves have very specific form and they came to the conclusion that the form plays its own role. All alive substances on the planet, including plants are situated between ionosphere, which has positive sign and the Earth with negative sign. Due to the fact that plants’ roots are earthed, its crown has negative potential too. Air-ions of the air having a positive sign are attracted to the plants’ leaves. Geometrical form of leaves with its merlons and curves increase velocity of the electrical field around plants and make air-ions together with carbonic acid gas move towards leaves. This is how plants provide themselves with carbonic acid. With the help of Kirlians’s method it is possible to increase carbonic acid’s quantity in plants and it will result in increasing crops.
Looking at the photos of flowers done with the help of Kirlian’s method we can see with our own eyes the emanations of the plant, it’s ‘aura’, which reflects it’s inner state.
The author of this photo exhibition is Sergei Lopatin from the small town Berdsk in Western Siberia . He works as a psychologist at the Center of Manual Therapy in Berdsk. His job is diagnosing psycho-physiological state of people.
Together with his colleagues he lectures and arranges photo exhibitions all over Russia promoting Kirlian’s effect.
