"GEORGE ROERICH — DIRECTOR
OF THE URUSVATI INSTITUTE"
Permanent Exhibition in the building of the former Urusvati Himalayan Research Institute.
This exhibition displays photographs of different life stages of famous orientalist, elder son of Nicholas and Helena Roerich – George Roerich, as well as his original belongings, and of other Roerich’s family members, ancient coins and weapons collected during the Central Asiatic expedition, reproductions of paintings, books, photos, maps, etc.
Exhibition was inaugurated by guests of the International Seminar dedicated to the Birth Centenary of George Roerich, held from 12 th to 14 th December 2002 at the IRMT.
