Painting Exhibition by Tatyana Vavrzhina, Moscow, Russia
Exhibition held from 05.06.2005 till 12.06.2005 in the exhibition hall, ‘At Hall Estate’ building.
Exhibition was solemnly inaugurated by Sh.B.R.Chandel, District and Session Judge, Kullu, Lahoul and Spiti. Mme Tatyana Vavrzhina, professional painter from Moscow, who exhibits her paintings in the well known galleries all over the world, explained guests the subjects of her paintings and places she painted in Russia and Europe. Then she shared with the guests impressions from her first visit to India, and said she will definitely come again and again to this ancient country which left her spellbound as a painter. Exhibition was further enriched with the performance by Smt. Anuradha Arora, wonderful exponent of classical Kathak dance from Chandigarh. All guests of the exhibition were deeply impressed by beauty and preciseness of her movements. After the cultural program guests were invited to the inauguration of the IRMT new restaurant for tea party.
Mme Tatyana Vavrzhina later shared her knowledge with the students of Painting Department of Helena Roerich Art College during her Master Classes, when she gave children valuable suggestions in portrait painting.
