PAINTING EXHIBITION BY VLADIMIR KOZAR

On Sunday, 23rd of July, a new painting exhibition was inaugurated at the Modern Art Exhibition Hall of the Trust. Mr Vladimir Kozar, professional painter from Ukraine, and Director of Roerich Society, Kiev, exhibited his works created during his one and a half long month stay in Himachal Pradesh. During the inauguration, he described how he became forever enchanted and inspired by the beauty of Himalayas, its vast expanses and infinity. He visited and painted views of the Kullu valley and Himalayas from different places – from Naggar, Rumsu, Manali, Chandrakani Pass, Keylong, Rohtang pass, etc. Mr Kozar also said in his short speech, that Ukraine and India have very ancient and deep connection. And he expressed his dream and desire, that young Indian and Ukrainian artists may be able to visit each other in their respective countries and share their creativity and cultural heritage.
