Exhibition of paintings by Russian children from different cities brought by their teacher, artist Valeriy Lipenkov, Novosibirsk, Russia
Exhibition held from 09.10.2004 in the building of the Urusvati Himalayan Research Institute.
Painting exhibition depicting the Solar Deity by different age groups children from Russia. Sh.M.R.Thakur, National Awardee (Literature) inaugurated the exhibition during the annual Nicholas Roerich’s Birthday anniversary celebration. As a part of the function, artist V.Lipenkov announced the workshop in the IRMT’s Helena Roerich Art College. Students of the Painting department painted the Sun in their own style, some of them depicting Sun according to Hindu mythology. Winners of the workshop received nice prices sent from Russia.
