On 4th August, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in India, and Vice President of the Trust H.E. Mr. V.I.Trubnikov arrived to Naggar to meet with the management of the Trust and the representative of Kullu administration. The meeting was held in an informal, cordial atmosphere in the Trust’s restaurant. Executive Director/Curator of the Trust, Dr Alena Adamkova briefed His Excellency about the current situation and activities of the Trust. Mr Vijay Chandan, ADM Kullu, acting also as an Administrator of the Trust, informed Ambassador about the current administrative issues of the Trust.

His Excellency stressed the importance of an active support and collaboration of the Himachal Pradesh government with the Roerich Trust, which is considered a symbol of Indo-Russian cultural and spiritual cooperation. He also spoke about the future plans and possibilities of fruitful cooperation between Russia and Himachal Pradesh in many different spheres.
