HELENA ROERICH (1879–1955)

GEORGE (YURI) ROERICH (1902–1960)

SVETOSLAV ROERICH (1904–1993)
The younger son of Nicholas and Helena Roerich. A brilliant artist, who can be called a true successor of his father's spiritual masterpieces. A deep philosopher, author of several books about art. Also participated in the work of the "Urusvati" Institute as a biologist, chemist and ornitologist. DEVIKA RANI ROERICH (1908–1994)
A grandniece of Rabindranath Tagore. Famous Indian actress, who shined on the screen in 1930-ies. Devika Rani took part in shooting of 16 well-known film masterpieces. She stood at the origin of the Indian professional cinema as an actress and producer and later in 1970 was praised as "the First Lady of Indian Screen". In 1945 she got married with Svetoslav Roerich. The couple was living in Bangalore, in the "Tataguni" Estate till the beginning of 1990-ies >>> |
